Telephone Consultations

As at the 18th October 2021 the Commonwealth requirements have changed for telehealth consultations. If you HAVE NOT had a face to face consultation in the preceding 12 months, a telehealth consultations cannot be provided. If you have attended an appointment in the preceding 12 months, and require a telehealth consultation, please ring the the Hub on 4729 5100 to book a telephone consultation with your Doctor.

Symptoms of COVID-19

COVID-19 symptoms are similar to influenza. Symptoms include fever, fatigue, sore throat, coughing, fatigue, and shortness of breath. The elderly, immune compromised individuals, Indigenous populations and those with chronic medical conditions are more at risk of developing serious complications.

COVID-19 is easily transmitted through close contact with an infectious person. You can help to slow the spread of this coronavirus in our community by:

• Practicing good hygiene by regular and thorough washing of hands, disinfecting surfaces and frequently used objects, and disposing of potential sources of contagion (eg. used tissues)
• Social distancing – this includes avoiding direct contact with others and staying more than 1.5 metres away from people

If you are showing symptoms of COVID-19, self-isolation is recommended for 14 days, to avoid the spread of the virus.
