The facility has a protocol on how you may be provided with an approximate time to see your doctor of your choice at the Tindale Medical Hub from Monday to Fridays. These arrangements will not apply to Saturdays and Public Holidays.
The details of the protocol are:
Your doctor believes that this system will provide you the patient more equitable and better access to the doctor of your choice.
For continuity of medical treatment your doctor encourages to continue to see them. but you may request to see the doctor of your choice. Please advise our reception staff if other members of the family need to consult the doctor at the same time as this allows the relevant files to be available to the doctor to deal with each matter.
If you feel you need a longer consultation time with your doctor, please feel free to advise the reception staff when you are making an appointment booking.
Private appointments can be made up to two weeks in advance, for your doctor, any time but will close at 6pm the evening before your doctors scheduled appointment session.
Payment is required on the day of consultation. Your doctor has their own EFTPOS facility and if you have registered your bank account details with Medicare your doctor can initiate the Medicare rebate into your bank account.
Your doctor will initiate a cancellation fee applies if your private appointment is cancelled on the day of the appointment.
There is no booking on the day and there is no Bulk Billing for these appointments’ – a private fee will be charged.
Private fee charges are as follows:
*Initial consult fee for private appointments is $88 for all doctors.
Please show respect and understanding when dealing with the reception staff as the Practice cannot tolerate rudeness or aggression towards them as they are only performing their role as required by the Doctors and the Practice guidelines.
