The Practice has a protocol on how you may be provided with an approximate time to see the Practitioners at the Practice from Monday to Fridays. This arrangements will not apply to Saturdays and Public Holidays. The details of the protocol are:
All new patients to the Practice must personally attend the Practice in the first instance
The Practice telephones will not be turned on until 8am each day. Please use the Practices telephone number which is 02 4729 5100.
The Practice believes that this system will provide you the patient more equitable and better access to the Practice.
For continuity of medical treatment we encourage you to see the same doctor. You may request to see the doctor of your choice. Please advise our reception staff if other members of the family need to consult the doctor at the same time as this allows the relevant files to be available to the doctor to deal with each matter.
If you feel you need a longer consultation time with the doctor please feel free to advise the reception staff. As we do not run a formal appointment system the consulting doctor will spend as much time with you as needed.
Private appointments can be made up to one week in advance, for any Doctor, any time but will close at 6pm the evening before the Doctors scheduled appointment session. Payment is required on the day of consultation. The Practice has EFTPOS facilities and if you have registered your bank account details with Medicare we can initiate the Medicare rebate into your bank account.
A cancellation fee applies if your private appointment is cancelled on the day of the appointment.
There is no booking on the day and there is no Bulk Billing for these appointments’ – a private fee will be charged.
