The Hub has been partnering with independent doctors in the delivery of their services to their patients in the Penrith Community for over 36 years Your doctor and the Tindale Medical Hub is committed to providing high quality care to you and your family. The facility is fully computerised and offers full-time nurse support, dedicated consulting rooms and a fully equipped treatment room, on-site pathology collection and Pharmacy.

The first priority is to always provide a patient-centric approach so that your doctor consistently delivers the best care possible at all times. Your doctor and The Hub have adopted the “Person centred home” model of care where the independent doctors put their patient in the centre of their healthcare.

The Tindale Medical Hub Commitment

The Hub is committed to providing high quality care to you and your family. All independent practitioners who provide their services from The Hub are trained in the broad range of problems dealt with in primary care along with accident and casualty styled medicine.

All the independent practitioners carry out regular education and training to keep abreast with up-to-date changes in the medical field. All medical reception and nursing staff have continuing education and training and the Tindale Medical Hub has achieved and maintained a set of Standards which have been set by the Medical Profession. The Royal College of General Practitioners (RACGP) sets these Standards and assessment of the services operation occurs every three years. The Practice is accredited with Australian General Practice Accreditation Ltd (AGPAL).

Services

The Hub provides an extensive range of primary care support services, for the independent practitioners, each utilising their experience and individual skills to ensure their patients receive the very best health care.

Our highly trained and experienced nursing team plays a significant role in the daily operation of the practice, supporting the independent doctors and servicing the patients by providing support in the well-equipped treatment room.

The Hub prides itself on its dedicated Chronic Disease Management Unit (CDMU) which supports the independent doctor’s patients with a chronic disease under the direction of the independent doctors. This unit is led by a Care Co-ordinator along with a care team on three staff.

The operation of The Hub is supported by Gary Smith JP, and an Office Manager, Ronelle JP and Supervisory Nurse, Pauline, and Chronic Disease Care-Coordinator Vicki.

Reminder Systems

The Hub operates a patient reminder system on behalf of the independent doctors for a range of preventative services which your doctor provides. You may wish to enrol in this reminder system, if so, please speak to your doctor.

Unexpected Delays

We hope that you understand that delays sometimes occur due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of your doctor. At all times your doctor will endeavour to make your wait as short as possible.

Management of your Personal Health Information and Complaints

The Hub and the independent practitioners are constantly striving to improve the quality and standard of service. We value your input and any suggestions you may have that could assist your doctor in enhancing their service which they provide to you. If you have any suggestions, please do not hesitate in using the suggestion box or speak to our Management Consultant, Mr. Gary Smith or your doctor directly.
